Heaven Leigh Hart Turns 18 - Kevin Hart Celebrates Daughter's Birthday with a Touching Post

Kevin Hart shares a comical throwback photo of his daughter Heaven Leigh Hart on her 18th birthday. The comedian is a proud father of his Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV-driving daughter, who wishes to continue his comedy legacy.

Comedian Kevin Hart visited Instagram yesterday to wish his eldest daughter Heaven Leigh Hart a happy 18th birthday. However, the actor matched a sweet caption with a touch of his unhinged sense of humor that his fans have fallen in love with over the years.

The photo of Heaven Leigh in Kevin's post is certainly not her best, as she is seen in what appears to be a school play. Heaven's adorable smile at the camera was hilariously void of her central incisors. A photo so funny that a fan questioned the comedian's choice of image for the birthday wish.

In the caption of the birthday post, Kevin questioned in astonishment, "And just like that, my little girl is 18...wow...where does the time go?" The comedian continued praising Heaven for her positive growth, saying that he is so proud and happy to witness her grow into the woman she is.

"Love you, my G," Kevin said before concluding his caption with the hashtag #Harts. A fan broken implied in a comment that the comedian sifted through all Heaven's photos and chose one where we see her without front teeth.

Another fan added their input under the comment, "As parents, in our eyes, no matter how old our kids get, they're our babies, so she'll always be his sweet little snaggle bug." [sic] No matter the photograph, Kevin has a lot of love for his "G."

Heaven has made it clear to her father that she aspires to follow in his footsteps and carve a path for herself in comedy. Kevin Hart, the star of "What Now" alongside Oscar hosting Halle Berry, told PEOPLE that he was committed to keeping her from pursuing an entertainer career until she was of age.

"My daughter wants to be an entertainer so bad. I'm just holding her back til she's 18," he said. Now that Heaven is 18, is it time for her to remind the superstar of her comedy dreams—Kevin has admitted that Heaven "has funny in her."

The comedian opened up about his reasons for holding his daughter back at an early age. He mentioned that he wants a typical childhood experience and the acquiring of an education for Heaven before she embarks on any career.

Heaven, who was born on March 22, 2005, is the first child of Kevin and his first wife, Torrei Hart. The 18-year-old whose dreams were halted by her father's "daddy decision" knows how to get a daily laugh out of her notoriously funny father. "Old raggedy back jack," she calls the comedian who once hurt his back.

For Heaven, 2021 was an empowering year, as she managed to get her driver's license with Kevin's help. He then gifted her a Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV for her sweet sixteenth. Having grown up so fast, Kevin realized another milestone is around the corner as he said, "I see myself realizing that that time is coming for her to leave the house, and I don't like it."

Heaven touches Kevin's emotions in a way that he says nobody else can. He talked to Jada Pinckett's Will Smith about his battles with infidelity and the subsequent divorce from his first wife. During the conversation, Kevin revealed the difficulty in getting Heaven to understand that he was sorry for his mistake.

Kevin shares parental responsibility for two of his four children, Heaven and Hendrix Hart, with his first wife, Torrei. Hendrix is two years younger than Heaven, and the comedian said having two teens and two younger children is the perfect age separation.

The two younger children, Kenzo Hart, born on November 21, 2017, and Koari Hart, born September 29, 2020, were born in the comedian's second attempt at marriage with his current spouse Eniko Hart.
